I’m trying to get back into tri training mode but with the holiday on monday it’s been hard. My big boy has also had soccer tryouts in the evening for 3 nights in a row and that’s cutting into my normal run time. So it’s no excuses day, I have my running stuff all packed and I will run/walk during his tryouts. It’s not a super serious tryout where he has to do stuff on his own, most if it is in a group of other under 9 boys and they are doing skills, short games and whatever else the coaches come up with. To my boy it’s just like practice. So I will be one of several parents that are trying to get a workout in while our kids do sports. I also plan on swimming tomorrow during my lunch.
I need to look at my schedule and plan out what I am doing from now until my next tri so I can stay semi- sane. 🙂
Are you doing a sprint tri or a full? I just told my friend we need to sign up for a relay tri since she can’t run right now. She can swim, I can run and we need a biker! 🙂

Try mornings! I go to bed early but alwaya have plenty of time to run in the AM after waking up at 4:50!

some days I wish I could get up and go do a workout. Mornings just aren’t’ happening. But as I get my fatigue issues better, I do have the thought of doing a morning run. So i’m getting closer, just not yet.
