Started my day off in a good spot by doing some yoga stretches specifically for my hips and back. I got home from work and was able to get changed and over to my neighbors house to run on her treadmill. We are still sorting out the belt slipping on ours. I had already decided to run for a total of at least 3 miles. I started out at a good but a little slow pace. It actually felt pretty good. I ran for 10 minutes, most of it felt good, and then walked for 3 minutes, then ran for 10 minutes, walked for 4 minutes and then finished out running. I sped up the treadmill to a pace that was a little fast for me but didn’t feel like I was out of control. I held out at the faster pace for .8 of the last mile. Then finished with a longer cool down since I pushed it. Was on the treadmill for a total of 50 minutes and a distance of 3.2 miles. Now I’m having fun cutting out sewing projects that I want to make. Most of the projects I am working on are bags. Since I hardly have time to exercise, much less work on something just for fun, I’m taking advantage of my kid free week.
Headed to Zumba tomorrow and a relaxing Restorative Yoga class. So it will be a good day to work from home.
